WORSHIP TIME

Join us for worship Sunday mornings at 10am!

CHANCEL CHOIR

**Currently on hold due to COVID-19**

Chancel Choir practices Wednesday nights at 6:15pm. They sing four part harmonies and a nice mixture of musical styles. They perform on Sunday mornings September through May, with special performances at Easter and Christmas.

HANDBELL CHOIR

We have a four octave set of handbells and a 2 octave set of chimes here at St. John. The handbell choir will play at the church on Mother's Day and then take the summer off.

CHILDREN IN WORSHIP

Every Sunday at the 10am worship there is a special children's chat where kids are invited up front and then released for children's church. We also have a staffed nursery for our youngest members.

Teens & Library

SPECIAL WORSHIP SERVICES

Special Worship Services throughout the year include: Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Sunrise, Blessing of the Pets, Thursday Night Lenten Worship, Toten Fest, and Christmas Eve Candlelight.

SERVICE ACTIVITIES

COMMUNITY KITCHEN

The Community Kitchen was started in 2003 and has served a free, hot meal to the community every Thursday since then.

FOOD PANTRY

The congregation of St. John supports its own food pantry, which is open twice a month.

MISSION TRIPS

Each year, members of St. John have an opportunity to go on one, multi-day trip as well as many local one-day mission opportunities.

CAR PAX

The congregation assembles brown paper bags filled with healthy snacks, water, wet wipes, and a scripture verse to be handed out to the those in need we meet while driving.

GOOD SAMARITAN COLLEGE OF NURSING

**Currently on hold due to COVID-19**


Nursing students from Good Samaritan College of Nursing volunteer Thursday nights at the Community Kitchen and take blood pressures, do foot care, and answer general health questions free of charge.

Bring in your pop can tabs and your empty pill bottles as we collect these for Ronald McDonald House and Matthew 25 Ministries.

LITTLE FREE LIBRARY

In 2017, we added a custom build Little Free Library in our courtyard.

For several decades, every Spring, St. John members have a Rummage Sale for the community.

FAITH NURTURING ACTIVITIES

BIBLE STUDY

Every Tuesday at 1pm and 6:30pm we offer an interactive, lectionary based Bible Study to prepare members for next Sunday's worship.

GROWING OUR FAITH

Sunday mornings, in worship, after the children's chat, kids are taken out for faith formation. Starting in the Fall of 2018, an adult faith formation class will be offered at 9am on Sundays prior to worship.

RETREATS

St. John offers a family retreat in the winter and a women's retreat in the fall.

FELLOWSHIP EVENTS

Fellowship Events include: Annual Bus Trip, Monthly Lunch Bunches, Christmas Extravaganza, and Monthly Get Togethers for all members of the congregation.
